Cadet College Palandri was announced in 1976, by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto due to efforts of Col M Naqi Khan, the then Prime Minister of Pakistan, along with two other cadet colleges at Larkana and Mastung. Instability prevented this dream from being realized until 1991, when Benazir Bhutto, the then Prime Minister of Pakistan, released funds for this college. Raja Mumtaz Hussain Rathore the then Prime Minister Azad kashmir graced the ground breaking ceremony. A flood in 1992 stopped everything proceeding.
In 1998 Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhary, the then PM of Azad State of Jammu and Kashmir, appointed Brigadier (retd) Akbar as project director and commandant of the college. The first batch of students, 62 cadets, joined the college on 13 September 1998. The formal inauguration was held on the next day, and 15th Sep 1998 was the day when the teachers commenced teaching.

Cadet College Petaro is an educational institution from grade 8 to grade 12, in the southern province of Sindh in Pakistan about 20 miles (32 km) from Hyderabad. Its campus occupies over 700 acres (2.8 km�) on the west bank of the Indus River on the road from Hyderabad to Dadu, Larkana and Quetta.

Until the academic year 1998-99, the college used to admit a small contingent of boys from the rural districts of Sindh to Class 7, to prepare them for competitive success with the new entry into Class 8. However, it was decided by the Board of Governors of the college to discontinue Class 7 from 1999 onwards. All Class 7 Cadets stayed in Shahbaz House. Since the year 2000, Shahbaz house became Full-Fledge, having a similar strength of all Classes like the other houses, and started participating in all Inter-House competitions to compete for the Championship.

History
In 1976, the Federal Government extended help for establishing a Cadet College in Balochistan to bring this province at par with other Provinces, thus providing equal opportunities to the talented and brighter students from Balochistan as well.
The Project of establishing a Cadet College in Balochistan was conceived in March, 1976. The President of Pakistan gave his blessings in 1979 and ECNEC approved PC-I in 1981. Present site was selected in 1982 and the construction of first two phases started in 1983. College started functioning on April 09, 1987 with induction of its First Entry of 60 cadets.

Cadet College Razmak is a Military High School, located in the valley of Razmak, in North Waziristan, Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), Pakistan.
History
It was founded by the late prime minister of Pakistan, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, in late 1970s during his visit to Miranshah, North Waziristan agency. Initially it was set in Razmak lower camp. The institution feeds the Pakistan Military Academy, Kakul.
The college became operational in 1978 with a single boarding hostel, Ghazali House, and Mr. Asghar Ali Choudhry was appointed its first principal. Later that year, another boarding hostel, Bilal House, was established.
In 1979, owing to the increasing number of cadets, athird boarding hostel, Jinnah House, was established. Major (R) G.D Langland, an Aitchison educationist, was appointed the new principal.
The fourth boarding hostel, Babar House, was established in 1980. The fifth boarding hostel, Abdali house, was established in 1981 and yet another one, Khushal house, was added in 1982. In 1997, due to increasing strength of students, the then 7th hostel, Iqbal House, was established, however, it was later dispensed with. In 1988, Jan Gul Khattak was appointed Principal. In 1991, Michael C. Cawthrone took the charge of Principal.

Garrison Cadet College Kohat, is a boarding school, situated in Kohat, Pakistan. History It was established as Kohat Garrison College.Later it was renamed as Garrison Cadet College Kohat after the approval of the then Chief of Army staff General Pervaiz Musharaf. In Pakistan, Cadet Colleges were introduced by late Field Marshal, Muhammad Ayub Khan and these were established at Hasanabdal, Kohat and Petaro.
In pursuance of the recommendations of the Commission on National Education of the defunct Government of West Pakistan decided to establish another Cadet College to be the third in the province.
In recognition of the military services of the people of the area, Mr. Fateh Khan Bandial, the then Deputy Commissioner, Kohat, requested late Malik Amir Muhammad Khan, H.Pk, H.Q.A., the then Governor of West Pakistan that a Cadet College should be established at Kohat. Mr Fateh Khan acquired 144 acres (0.58 km2) of land for the college. The foundation-stone was laid by late Malik Amir M. Khan, on 19 April 1964.
The first entry of cadets was accepted in April 1965. Academic work started with 58 cadets and one boarding house called Jinnah House. Lt. Col. (Retd.) Faizullah Khattak (late) was its founding Principal.
